wife and I are fans of the various home “make-over” shows on HGTV. Our
attitude has been “Oh yeah – if you have $100,000 and about eight months
you too can make your kitchen look like that!!” So it was with that kind
of skepticism with which we engaged your services. All I can now say is,
well, this is the first time in my life that I have ever felt compelled
to write any kind of testimonial! (It’s also the first time I’ve ever
felt compelled to use an exclamation point!) Carol, I never knew the
meaning of the word “genius” until I saw what you did with our family
room and our living room-dining room areas. We still have a difficult
time believing that our house could be so beautiful, and by using most

Dear Carol,
We were so thrilled how our living/dining room turned out. Combining two
households of furniture is a challenge and the room lacked the
comfortable elegance that I was trying to create. Now, the eye can take
in the color, texture and the arrangement in a pleasing way rather than
feeling like we are trying to force pieces together. I no longer have
the need to recover the chair (because of color) or think about getting
a smaller couch for the room. Every piece is arranged in such a way that
they compliment each other. And your attention to detail was fabulous.
My husband’s quote when he came home was “I NEVER EXPECTED IT TO LOOK
THIS GREAT!…..AM I IN THE RIGHT HOUSE?!!!We can’t wait till you work

concerned that I didn’t have enough accessories for you to work with,
but your "magic" made my accessories that I had work out beautifully.

experience a lot of fun from the consultation to the finished redesign.
The rooms not only are more functional and attractive now but they seem

We are just so pleased with our new
downstairs and wanted you to know how much we love it. As you know we
purchased a home that was approximately 20 years old and it still had
the same paint and wallpaper that the builder had used.
We were limited in money and just
couldn’t believe how much could be accomplished with new paint,
wallpaper and a few extra accessories. Cost was such a factor and you
integrated our existing furnishings in a way that I would have never
thought of. Your insight and eye for beauty is way beyond my abilities
and you turned my dated home into something I could really be proud of.
I now look forward to having my
friends and family over all the time to show off “my new taste in décor”

We have a small three bedroom house and a huge
finished basement. My two children had been sharing a bedroom and the
third room functioned as my husband's office. The basement was a large
TV and playroom for our kids. Our downstairs room was so large it felt
like wasted space, especially when we were so cramped upstairs. We
decided to move my husband's office downstairs so the kids could have
their own rooms. The room was still to big for a simple office, a desk
and a couch or two would be swallowed up by the space. Thankfully, Luann
and Carol came to the rescue.
I cleared my house for two days while they worked very
hard for many hours. What I came home to exceeded my expectations. We
were in need of creating functional space. They not only created two
functional spaces, but each of those spaces were beautiful, comfortable,
and filled with personality. Instead of simply being creative with their
decorating, Luann and Carol were careful to make sure the rooms
reflected the personality of our family. They were so inventive in their
arranging. Anyone who has seen our "new" rooms has been amazed at the
level of creativity these women brought into their work. They are
original in what they do and the results make me feel so proud of my

You “ya ya” sisters have changed our lives. How can
words express how it makes us women feel when our space becomes so
fulfilling!! We truly are a body with many parts and we need each other
to accomplish all that the Farther has created in us and given us on
this earth__ and that is spiritual and natural. How blessed I feel that
I have been given the honor of the company of such wonderful people in
our lives. Your gift and loved express for the people you bless will
always be a bright light in our memories and the effect will never be

This is just a note
to tell you much I am enjoying the redesign of the guest bedroom you did
and how refreshed I feel just walking into it. It is truly an inviting,
calming place to be. Working with only things I already had, and not
spending a dime on any of the redesign, was an additional bonus. Later
on, armed with the inspiration, fabrics and look we discussed, it will
gain even another look by using the toile fabrics.
Thank you again for your hard work, time, and WONDERFUL ideas to pull
this room into a part of the house. After clearing the clutter and
things out of the room and then adding only the things that were needed,
it became so much more a cohesive part of the rest of the house. Again,
it is a joy to see the difference this has made with a neater, much more
workable space.
It has inspired me to tackle another room (the office) with a greater
fervor a couple of days after you completed the bedroom. Mission:
Organization, function, design. It's working!
